MAG is the country’s largest airport group. We own Manchester, Stansted, and East Midlands Airport. We operate a concession’s business in the USA also. This role sits within our digital division, MAG-O, that was created to take the Group on the next leg of its digital journey. Utilizing advanced MI, digital platforms, and emerging and new technologies, this is a fast-moving, agile engine house of invention and ideas.
Its concentrate is to produce new and thrilling online and physical products to service our travelers at every step of their physical and online trip. We are also now moving on to a new exciting phase of expansion as we seek to grow our business internationally by providing our course leading multi-tenanted SaaS e-commerce system to global airport terminal partners.
Our UI Engineers is responsible for building rich consumer experiences for both internal and external users, from brochureware sites to full-level transactional systems, and everything in-between. As a Senior UI Engineer in the team you’ll be expected to be a React Native expert and bring real-specialized clout to the role. Because the application that we’re developing will be delivered to airports across the world, it’s important that you can show good knowledge of providing a multi-tenant application through a build and deploy pipeline to production.
The Channels Team is also accountable for other stations including kiosk, chatbot, and most notably our airport websites – which means you also need to have strong and proven experience building fast, reactive, SEO-friendly websites. Understanding of Vue.JS would be ideal, but experience in similar web as frameworks (like react) would be great.
